A Massive Thank You!
We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who helped out making this year so successful! There are too many people to thank individually but without all the help and support many pool sessions, trips and nights out just wouldn't have been possible.
As so many of our older members are leaving us this year and finishing uni we would just like to say good luck in the real world! We also hope you can come back and paddle with us a bit next year too as you will all be missed!

Thanks to everyone who helped out last weekend for roses! There are too many people to name everyone individually, but special thanks to Dani for organising the competitions, Letty for sorting the socials, Mic and Amy for driving, everyone who set up slalom and refereed. Although we didn't beat the Yorkies in every competition, mens A team polo managed to draw 2-2 (it was unlucky we didn't mange to inch into the lead), while womens A team polo lost 4-0 to York. In slalom, the men lost out by under a second to the Yorkies, but the women managed a win for Lancaster!
This week we will be running a river trip to the Lune on Saturday, all the details are up on the forum. If the water levels are good it could be a brilliant way for beginners to improve their skills. It is also the perfect excuse to get away from revision for a bit and de-stress before exams!
This weeks social is still being organised but it looks like it will be a trip to the cinema (day tbc). Keep looking at the forum for more details!
Liverpool International Polo Competition
If after Roses you would like to play a bit more polo before the end of the year then sign up for this competition in Liverpool! It is on the 2nd - 3rd of June and is open for everyone, so even if you think you are a polo beginner join in! Sign up closes on Thursday, more details are up on the forum.
You still have a chance to sign up for our summer meal! The venue is tbc but this will be a good chance to say goodbye to some of our older members who will be finishing uni this year. Sign up on the forum, this should be good fun and will include prizes for some lucky individuals!

For any future river trip or competition, money has to be paid before or bring a cheque on the day of the trip. Anyone who fails to do this will not be allowed to go on trips. For those people who are going to BUCS please pay Laura this week or on the day we leave. She is fairly easy to get hold of, so failure to do so means that you will not be competing. Prices for BUCS will be on the forum. Please contact any of the exec if you have any problems.
Pool session this sunday is cancelled due to it being the end of term.
