So in addition to normal pool sessions we also have an extra pool session on Saturday at 5pm til 6pm, this will be a river skills session.
On Sunday we have the Christmas polo tournament, it would be helpful if everyone could meet outside the sports centre and 4.30pm so we can distribute kit/sort out boats etc before we go in so we have as long as possible in the pool to finish all the games. Even if you are not competing feel free to come down to cheer us on/laugh at us!
This week we will be having a beginner trip to the Devil's Bridge area on the Lune. It will be a 10am meet and the sign up will be on the forum shortly. There is also a Presidents trip interest sign up at the moment which will hopefully give us a general idea of numbers and how many safety/drivers we will have.
On Wednesday we are having a cheese and wine social. It will be held at Becky/Bridget/Megan/Aileen's house. Alex and Phil will be meeting people at the chaplaincy centre bus stop at 7pm for anyone going from campus. If you are planning on coming later and do not know where their house is Bridget's phone number will be on the forum post so just send her a text and she can let you know the address/how to get there.
This Tuesday's fitness will be swimming and sauna. We will be meeting at 5.45pm in the foyer and will be heading in for 6pm. Unless you have the sports centre membership this will cost a few pounds so don't forget your money.
There will be an EGM on Monday of week 10. We need as many members possible to turn up so we can vote through any changes made. It will be at 6.30pm, probably in a Furness LT 1, but once the room has been confirmed we will let you know via the forum/another message.
The sign up for the next FOA which will be on the 22nd of January will be on the forum later this week so keep an eye out for it.
Aileen will be selling cakes at this years Christmas Market which will be on Friday near the Bonington step area. The market is on from 12-9pm but get there early to avoid missing out :)
