Newsletter Week 3 - 22th October
This weekends river trip is to the Upper Lune, depending on the river levels. The plan is to meet at the sports center at 9am, and it's a really good chance for beginners or fair weather paddlers to get onto some gentle white water! If you would like to go to Tyne tour then it is compulsory to come on one of the white water trips beforehand. Sign up is now on the forum, with all kit details!
Tyne Tour sign up is on the forum, if you would like to go sign-up soon as places are limited and we are working on a first come first serve basis. Tyne tour is on the 2nd - 4th November. Before you go on this trip you must be a fully paid member and have paddled at least one river with white water. Tyne tour is a great weekend, a good way to socialize with older members and get some experience paddling!
This weeks social is takeaway and games night at Letty and Dani's house. It starts at 6pm in town, we'll decide on the night what take-away people want and they don't have a TV so we are playing games, so if anyone would like to bring anything along then please do! All the details are on the forum along with Letty's number and directions, so you won't get lost!
If you owe any money to the club or have not paid membership yet, Laura is after your money! You can find her at any social, pool session or probably the easiest place to pay her is in the Learning Zone on Thursday 18th October by the vending machine between 11am - 12pm. You must be a fully paid up member of the club to go on river trips.
